Kayako was founded by Varun Shoor in 2001 (at the time he was 17 years old), after he dropped out of college and established their offices in Idaho, USA. The company was focused from the beginning on the creation of helpdesk software which was for a long time provided in an old fashioned On-demand style (download and install). After ten years and 30,000 customers, among which we find some impressive names such as: FedEx, Oracle, WanerBros, Princeton Uni. and even NASA, Kayako is well established on the market, but above all, is also in the Cloud.
