Techinline Remote Desktop

Techinline offers only one product - Remote Desktop. If we compare Techinline with its competition, we have to say that it is really daring nowadays to have such a product only because competitive companies often offer products with remote desktop in basic solution. But actually why not? Techinline is a successful company and has many satisfied customers.

Register, log-in and start session?

It is possible to try Techinline for free for 14 days if you don´t want to buy this product directly because you could get a pig in a poke .
To create an account takes less than three minutes and after a successful confirmation you are able to explore the whole functionality. But this is the first moment when you can be a little bit confused. There are two buttons which you can choose - “start session” and “join session”. “What is the difference between them? Which one is better to choose?”, you probably say.
We were baffled too but now we are clear about the difference between these options.
“Start session” button means that you are the one who opens the remote connection and who wants to connect two computers together. Simply, you are the side A. The other side (side B) chooses “join session” button and gets an unique code (six numbers). The side A has to enter it for the purpose of creating a successful connection. Is it clear?
As the side A (who starts session) your have to give access rights to the side B and allow the remote connection to you (the side A). How is it possible? Does it make sense? Yes, in case when the side B is not registered in the Techinline system. That means, that the side B can use remote connection through Techinline even though the side B didn’t pay anything to the company. That’s a very strong advantage - Techinline can be used as a tool for helpdesk services.
Side A - side B permits connection to side A
What exactly sees the side B? Look at the next image.
Side B can see only six unique numbers (Client ID) which are send to side A for the purpose of successful authorization and establishing a connection.
As you can see, everything works by using only a web-browser, no application for operating system is needed, just a small add-on installed in your browser.
Do you need a public IP address for the remote connection? Answer is no. Public IP address is absolutely not necessary because the connection between both sides goes though Techinline servers (Techinline cloud).

Overall summary

A remote desktop is fine but what are the best advantages of this product? The entire list of features is possible to get on this website:
Probably one of the most useful features is file and clipboard transfer which enables to move various documents from the side A to the side B (and vice versa) easy with drag and drop. And what about remote reboot and reconnecting of devices? This feature allows you to reboot and reconnect a remote computer without involvement of remote user in the process. Once rebooted, the remote computer automatically re-establishes a connection to the support session.
We mentioned advantages, now let’s say something about disadvantages.
One of them could be no audio support. It is not possible to play any audio or video files through the remote desktop and listen them on your local computer. Exactly, you are able to play whatever you want, but does it make sense without audio?
